Waffle – The Brunch Buddy with Extra Bounce!
If Pancake is the cozy Sunday morning, Waffle is the extra side of fun that makes brunch unforgettable. This approximately 2-month-old male mix puppy is a bouncy, goofy little guy who’s ready to add laughter, love, and a bit of silliness to your family table.
Waffle is very food motivated and thinks every snack is a five-star brunch special. He loves treats like cream cheese on a lick mat, goodies in a Kong, and tasty bites like bacon and cheese. He can be a bit bossy at mealtimes with his sister, Pancake—he’ll bark, try to trade bowls, and even step right into his dish and tip it over, so they dine separately to keep things peaceful. He also loves his water, so his intake is monitored to keep him feeling his best.
During the day, Waffle likes to nap in his playpen with soft towels and blankets, and he’s happy to curl up on the couch if invited up for snuggles. Crate training is a work in progress, and like many pups, he can be quite vocal when left alone or when he first wakes up in the morning, so he’s likely not the best match for an apartment setting. He absolutely loves exploring the fenced backyard, zooming around, and being his funny, rambunctious self.
Waffle is playful, bouncy, and full of personality. He gets along well with his sister Pancake (even if he tries to steal her food) and his three foster dog siblings. He’s already learning which dogs like to play and which ones need space, and he responds well when they set boundaries. He would thrive in a forever home with another young, gentle, and playful dog friend and a family committed to positive training as he grows.
Like most puppies, Waffle is teething and will mouth just about anything he can find—hands, faces, and whatever is within reach. He isn’t aggressive, just enthusiastic, but this means he’ll be better suited to a home without very young children while he learns his manners.
Warm, silly, and full of brunch-time charm, Waffle is ready to bring joy and laughter to your life. Apply to meet him and make every day feel like Sunday morning.
