Vinny is a 1-year-old Pomeranian who came from Kashechewan First Nation and is now ready to find a loving forever home. With his bright eyes, fluffy coat, and happy personality, he still has that fun, puppy-like spirit and brings joy wherever he goes.
Vinny is an affectionate little guy who loves cuddles, belly rubs, and staying close to his people. He gets along well with other dogs and travels nicely in the car. He has even met a cat in his foster home and was curious but super respectful. He’s playful, social, and always up for fun, making him a delightful companion for an active and loving home.
Like many young dogs, Vinny is still learning his manners. He is working on perfecting his housetraining and can sometimes be a little nippy when he gets excited or playful. Like a puppy, he is still exploring the world with his teeth and might accidentally find something to chew. These puppy moments are easily guided with consistent training, redirection, clear boundaries and plenty of appropriate toys that can help him make better choices. Vinny is a smart pup who will thrive with continued basic obedience and positive reinforcement.
Here is what his foster has to say about him - "Vinny is a great time. He loves everyone and has so much spunk. He enjoys being held like a baby while have belly rubs, but he’s still super tough! Vinny has been so fun to foster and I know his family will have so much fun with this sweet guy!"
Vinny would do best in a home with family members who understand puppy behaviour and are excited to help him keep learning. Dog-savvy children who can gently reinforce good habits will help him grow into the very best version of himself. With love, structure, and patience, Vinny will shine as a loyal, happy little companion.
