Socks is an adorable young pup who’s full of love and personality! Born on August 14, 2025, she is 3 months old. This sweet female mixed-breed puppy came to Precious Paws Rescue from Moose Factory, Ontario with her five littermates after their mom was spayed and returned home to her family. Now that she’s been fully vetted, she’s ready to find her forever home!
Socks is a cuddle bug through and through — if you sit down, she’ll be in your lap in seconds! She loves being close to her people and soaking up all the affection she can get. Her favourite toys include rope toys, stuffies, and anything chewable, and she’s always up for a good play session.
She’s currently working on her potty training — she’ll whine when she needs to go out, but hasn’t quite learned to go to the door yet, so her new family will need to continue helping her learn this routine. She sleeps in her crate for naps and overnight, and while she might whine a bit at first, she settles quickly and typically sleeps 6–7 hours through the night with only the occasional pee accident. Leash training is still a work in progress, but Socks is cautious, not fearful, when exploring new environments and meeting new people.
Like most puppies, she’s also learning her manners — working on not nipping, grabbing clothes, or jumping up — so she’ll benefit from patient, positive training in her new home. Socks will make a wonderful companion for someone who’s ready to continue her training and give her all the love she deserves. She’s playful, snuggly, and full of potential — the perfect mix of silly and sweet!
