I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Rocky (now Jett)

We're happy to tell you that Rocky (now Jett) has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Rocky is a puppy just under 3-months old, and this friendly, playful, active boy has a wonderful little personality of his own. Mom is a Husky Shepherd mix and their dad is unknown, making these puppies a true mystery mix with a little surprise in their family tree! He loves being part of the puppy fun, but unlike some of his siblings, Rocky also appreciates having some quiet time to himself. He's equally happy napping in a peaceful corner or gently entertaining himself with a toy.

Rocky knows "sit," "come," and "leave it" and loves playing with his puppy siblings and the adult dog in his foster home. He has successfully met cats, is mostly housetrained with only very occasional accidents, and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He is also a very food-motivated puppy, so a slow feeder may be helpful for making sure he doesn't inhale his meals before anyone else gets a chance to blink!

Rocky is still learning the finer points of puppy etiquette and, like his siblings, can be jumpy, vocal during play, diggy, and enthusiastic about chewing. These behaviours are easily redirected with appropriate toys, distraction, and positive reinforcement. Continued obedience training will help him learn boundaries and turn his natural puppy enthusiasm into great adult manners.

Rocky would be a wonderful match for a family looking for an active puppy who also knows how to enjoy some independent downtime. His forever family should be prepared for the normal joys and challenges of puppyhood and excited to guide him with patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. Rocky is ready to grow, learn, and become someone's very best friend.
