Eliza is a 3-month-old Husky-Shepherd mix with a big personality, an adventurous spirit, and a playful zest for life. This happy girl is always ready for fun, whether she's exploring the backyard, playing with her dog friends, or soaking up attention from her favourite people. Friendly and confident, Eliza enjoys meeting new people and has never met a stranger she didn't want to say hello to.
Eliza gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has done well with children, making her a great candidate for an active family. She sleeps well in her crate, walks nicely on leash, and is making excellent progress with her housetraining. She is also at the perfect age to continue building her skills, and puppy classes will be a wonderful way to strengthen her manners while building a lifelong bond with her family.
Like any young puppy, Eliza is still learning about the world. She has plenty of playful energy and can sometimes be a little enthusiastic during play, so continued positive reinforcement and consistency will help her grow into a well-mannered adult. Because of her puppy exuberance, she may be best suited to a home with older children or younger kids who are familiar with puppies and can help reinforce appropriate boundaries and gentle interactions.

Our adoption fees cover all up to date veterinary needs, including but not limited to: full veterinary examination, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and parasite prevention, wellness bloodwork, spay or neuter, and microchip. All dogs will be started on a 6 week trial of pet insurance after adoption. Local adopters can take advantage of 50% off a training course at Ruff Haus in Barrie (www.ruffhaus.ca) and all adopters will also be signed up for Petcademy to offer 30 days of free text-based behavioural support.
