Misty is a sweet and playful 4-month-old female Miniature Poodle puppy who came to us as an owner surrender. She absolutely loves everyone—dogs, people, women, men, and children—and has especially bonded with the man of the house in her foster home. Misty is a bright pup who thrives on attention and affection, and she’s always eager to make new friends.
Misty is smart and ready to learn, making her a perfect candidate for puppy training. She’s currently working on basic commands like “sit” and is making steady progress. House training is still a work in progress, but at just 16 weeks old, she has plenty of time to master these skills with a patient new family.
Misty is very friendly with other dogs and people, though she does set gentle boundaries when meeting new pups, before quickly warming up. She’s highly treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. While she’s generally good about sharing her toys, she can be a bit protective of high-value food treats around other dogs. Misty isn’t much of a barker, but she will let you know when something catches her attention. She’s not a fan of the crate and will cry for the first minute, but she settles down quickly. In the morning, she’s eager to start the day and will let you know she’s ready to get out.
