Don’t let her petite 10-pound frame or “senior” status fool you — Lola’s got plenty of pep in her paws and a lifetime of love still to give. Estimated to be between 6–8 years young, this beautiful Bichon Frise spent her earlier days in a puppymill, but she’s quickly learning that a cozy home, kind humans, and tasty treats are so much better.
Lola is the perfect mix of sweet and spunky — friendly with men, women, and respectful kids, though she takes a moment to decide who’s earned her affection (a lady’s entitled to her opinions). She gets along nicely with other dogs, enjoys her meals, and has excellent manners at night, snoozing quietly in her foster parents’ room.
Dental recently done, spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Bath time and nail trims? Not her favorite spa treatments — but she’s learning that good girls get good treats! Lola is house-, crate-, and leash-trained, with a temperament that’s gentle, shy, and oh-so-loving once she trusts you. She’s not one for obedience school reruns; at her age, she’s more about cuddles than commands.
