Ruby is an almost 3-month-old female puppy with a confident, adventurous spirit and a whole lot of charm. She’s a happy, playful girl who jumps into life "paws first" as her foster describes, and loves exploring new places, meeting new friends, and being part of the action. Outgoing and affectionate, Ruby balances her bold personality with a very cuddly side.
She’s doing great with her puppy basics and is nearly fully housetrained, with only the occasional pee accident. Ruby sleeps overnight in a crate in her foster’s room, usually after starting the night with some snuggles. While the crate isn’t her favorite place yet, she’s made good progress, especially at mealtimes, where she eagerly runs in on her own. She does well in the car, gets along nicely with other dogs, and has met cats without showing aggression. Ruby loves to play, especially tug, chasing toys, and chewing on appropriate chew items, and she settles well once she’s had some exercise.
As a confident puppy, Ruby is still learning manners. She can be a bit nippy when excited and will need continued guidance, structure, and redirection as she grows. She also benefits from clear routines around food as she eats well in her crate and thrives with consistency. With ongoing training, these puppy behaviours are very manageable and expected to improve as she matures.
Ruby would do best in an active home that’s excited to continue her training and embrace puppy life. A family willing to provide structure, positive reinforcement, and lots of love will help her grow into a well-rounded, confident companion. Ruby is a fun, affectionate pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart, ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of cuddles to her future home.
