I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Kirby

We're happy to tell you that Kirby has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Kirby is a 5-month-old Shih Tzu mix with a happy heart and an endless supply of cuddles to give. This sweet little guy has settled beautifully into foster care and is quickly proving that he’s the perfect mix of playful puppy and snuggly companion. Whether he’s making new friends, curling up for a nap, or following his people around, Kirby simply loves being part of the family.

Kirby is housetrained, walks wonderfully on leash, and has lovely manners when meeting new people and dogs. He gets along great with children and has been fantastic with his foster family’s kids. He has also met a cat and was more curious than anything, taking everything in stride. Kirby already knows “sit” and “come” and is eager to keep learning. He is very comfortable with his crate, often choosing to nap there during the day with the door open and happily going to bed there at night, usually with his beloved pig stuffy tucked beside him. His foster describes him as a happy, loving puppy who insists on belly rubs and sneaks in as many kisses as he can.

Like any young puppy, Kirby is still learning and would benefit from continued training and positive reinforcement as he grows. He can be a little hesitant when it's time to put on his collar and leash, but once he’s geared up, he walks beautifully and enjoys his outings. He loves being outdoors in small doses but is happiest wherever his people are and would gladly trade an adventure for a cuddle on the couch.

Kirby would thrive in a home looking for a friendly, affectionate, and well-rounded puppy to grow with. He would do wonderfully with a family, another dog, or simply people who have lots of love and belly rubs to give. In return, Kirby promises endless cuddles, plenty of kisses, and a loyal little shadow who will happily keep you company wherever life takes you.
