Meet Hyacinth — the sturdy little bloom with short stems, a big voice, and a heart full of sweetness. He is a 3 month old Shih Tzu mix.
This low-to-the-ground pup may have the shortest legs in the garden, but he makes sure he’s heard loud and clear. Hyacinth has a bit more “pep” in his voice than his siblings and may not be the best fit for apartment living, but what he lacks in quiet he makes up for in charm, affection, and personality.
Hyacinth is a calm yet playful puppy who loves a good burst of fun followed by a well-earned rest. After romping around with his siblings or enjoying his favorite toys, he’s happiest curling up for a cozy recharge. He’s wonderfully cuddly, gentle, and friendly with everyone he meets — including men, women, and children — though he can be a little slow to warm up at first.
Like a true garden companion, Hyacinth thrives in routine. He eats alongside his siblings and sleeps comfortably in his crate in the family room. He’s also a great little traveler who does well in the car, making him a lovely companion for outings and adventures.
As a growing puppy, Hyacinth is still learning and would benefit from continued training to help him blossom into his best self.
There are a few mild medical notes to be aware of. His bloodwork showed some mild abnormalities — the changes noted on his bloodwork is commonly seen in young puppies, and expected to normalize as he matures, but should be confirmed with follow up bloodwork at 8-10 months of age at the expense of his adopter. He will need his final booster vaccination between July 15–22.
Hyacinth is a gentle, affectionate little bloom with a playful spirit and a soft, cuddly side — ready to put down roots in a home where he can grow, rest, and be loved.
