Meet Vixen, a 2‑month-old northern mix reindeer-in-training who’s on a mission to keep the winter cozies going all year round. With bright eyes, a busy little brain, and a heart full of mischief and love, she brings equal parts snowy magic and goofy puppy charm to every day.
This active girl adores playtime and is always up for a good game of chase, especially if it involves balls or anything that moves and makes noise. Expect zoomies, wiggles, and those hilarious puppy pounces, followed by sweet cuddle sessions once she’s had a moment to settle her excitement. She loves being close to her humans and is happiest when she can curl up nearby after a fun-filled play session.
Vixen is a smart, curious pup who’s already hard at work learning her big-dog manners. She’s working on potty training, with just the occasional indoor accident, and will often whine or go to the door when she needs to go out. Leash training is still a work in progress, and like many young pups, she’s learning that nipping, grabbing clothes, and jumping up are not the best ways to say hello.
At home, Vixen’s cozy side really shines. She currently naps and sleeps in a covered crate with a blanket, and while she may whine a little when first tucked in, she settles quickly and sleeps for about six to seven hours overnight, with only an occasional pee accident. She’s not the biggest fan of water, but she handles baths like a champ when needed.
Out in the world, Vixen is cautious but not fearful, taking in new sights and sounds with a thoughtful little nose and wagging tail. She already enjoys car rides, so adventures and roadtrips -- check! She’ll need an adopter who understands there will be an adjustment period as she settles into her new home and routine, especially coming from a setup where pups are crated separately but close together. In return, Vixen promises endless play, warm snuggles, and a touch of Santa’s reindeer magic to brighten every season.
