Taisei is a little over 2 months old and may be the quiet observer of the litter, but don't underestimate her. This sweet Shih Tzu puppy likes to take a moment to watch the action before launching herself into play with an adorable surprise body slam that lets everyone know she's officially joining the fun. She is gentle, affectionate, and happiest when she's close to her people, often snuggling under your chin or following at your feet.
Taisei loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has already shown how eager she is to learn. She already knows "sit," is doing an excellent job with her housetraining, and is the quietest of her siblings. She enjoys chasing balls and toys, has discovered that digging is pretty entertaining, and happily rolls over for belly rubs when approached. Although she's a little hesitant to leave the safety of her crate at first, once she builds confidence she's ready to join in the adventure.
Like any young puppy, Taisei is still growing and learning. She sleeps well in her crate and will benefit from continued obedience training and positive reinforcement as she gains confidence. Like all puppies, she is still learning about jumping, playful nipping, chewing, and all the exciting things that come with exploring the world, so her forever family should be prepared to guide her through puppyhood with patience and encouragement.
Taisei would thrive in a loving family that understands puppy behaviour and is excited to help her continue building confidence. She has done well with people and other dogs but has not yet met children. With kindness, consistency, and plenty of cuddles, Taisei will grow into a loyal, affectionate companion who never wants to be far from the people she loves.
Our adoption fees cover all up to date veterinary needs, including but not limited to: full veterinary examination, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and parasite prevention, wellness bloodwork, spay or neuter, and microchip. All dogs will be started on a 6 week trial of pet insurance after adoption.
