I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Chopper

We're happy to tell you that Chopper has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Chopper is a 4 month old male Husky-Shepherd mix from Moose Cree First Nation, full of puppy energy and ready to find his forever family. With his wagging tail and bright personality, he greets the world with excitement and curiosity, bringing fun and enthusiasm wherever he goes.

Chopper is a very friendly, social pup who loves people and does great with kids. He approaches everyone with a happy tail and enjoys being part of the action. He is crate trained, almost fully housetrained, and already knows “sit” and “down,” with more learning underway. He rides well in the car and enjoys getting out for walks, even if his excitement sometimes shows in a bit of leash pulling. His foster notes that if it were up to him, he would happily be by his person’s side all day long.

Like any young puppy, Chopper is still learning his manners. He is working on boundaries with people, dogs, and even cats, and is eager to learn with guidance and consistency. He is currently learning a “wait” command at mealtimes and making great progress. Chopper is still teething, so he may use his mouth during play, but he responds well to redirection. He may also bark when he’s feeling a little frustrated, which is typical for a smart, expressive puppy. With continued training and positive reinforcement, he is well on his way to becoming a well-mannered companion.

Chopper would thrive in an active home that is ready for puppy life and committed to training, structure, and plenty of playtime. A family who can continue building his skills, provide regular exercise, and include him in daily life will help him grow into his best self. In return, Chopper will be a loyal, fun-loving companion who brings energy, affection, and endless tail wags to his forever home.
