Charley is a 2-year-old male Bichon Frise with a sweet, loving personality and a playful, mellow side. He is a happy little guy who enjoys being around people and is always excited to say hello. Charley loves everyone he meets and is wonderful with children of all ages, making him a friendly and affectionate companion.
Charley has been doing well with other dogs and enjoys having canine company. He has also started his training and is already showing what a smart little guy he can be, learning sit, stay, down, and off. He can happily spend time in his crate during the day, although when nighttime rolls around, he would much rather be curled up in a dog bed in his person's room or, if invited, in the human bed. He is considered crate trained and is comfortable settling in when needed.
Charley is still working on his housetraining and may have the occasional accident, so his new family should continue giving him plenty of opportunities to go outside and reinforcing his progress. On walks, he is thrilled to see people and can get a little enthusiastic, which means he may pull on leash when something exciting catches his attention. Continued positive training and consistency will help him learn that he can say hello without needing to lead the parade.
Charley would love a family who will keep building on his training while giving him plenty of affection, companionship, and opportunities to play. He is a wonderful mix of playful and mellow and would be happiest where he can be part of the family and, ideally, close to his people. In return, Charley will happily provide plenty of love, enthusiasm, and cuddles.
