Meet Belle — our “Belle of the Ball” looking for her perfect match!
Looking for love? So is Belle — a three-year-old tricolour Treeing Walker Coonhound beauty, weighing in at a dainty 26 lbs and ready to steal hearts. Originally from Moosonee, Ontario, this petite explorer has traded her northern adventures for cozy naps and cuddly nights with her foster family’s kids (she loves sharing a bed!).
Belle is calm, sweet, and mild-mannered — the type who melts into a sunbeam or a good couch snuggle. She’s an equal-opportunity sweetheart who adores men, women, kids, and even total strangers. She hits it off great with male dogs and hasn’t yet tested the waters with female friends.
Smart and polite, Belle is crate-trained, house-trained, and knows her basics: sit, stay, off, and leave it. On walks, she can pull a little when she spots admirers (who can blame her — attention is her love language!).
Belle is the perfect roommate-meets-best-friend. She’ll alert you with her cute hound bark if someone’s at the door, lend a paw in the garden (digging is her hobby), and greet life’s joyful moments with an excited little hop. (Me too, Belle — me too.)

Our adoption fees cover all up to date veterinary needs, including but not limited to: full veterinary examination, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and parasite prevention, wellness bloodwork, spay or neuter, and microchip. All dogs will be started on a 6 week trial of pet insurance after adoption. Local adopters can take advantage of 50% off a training course at Ruff Haus in Barrie (www.ruffhaus.ca) and all adopters will also be signed up for Petcademy to offer 30 days of free text-based behavioural support.
