Aries is a 2-year-old Husky mix with the perfect balance of playful energy and laid-back charm. He is a friendly, affectionate guy who loves being around people and is always ready for a game, a walk, or a cuddle on the couch afterward. Whether he’s proudly carrying around a toy or doing his happy little foot stomps with his tail wagging, Aries has a fun personality that keeps everyone smiling.
Aries is doing wonderfully with training and already knows sit, stay, come, leave it, down, and off. He is housetrained, crate trained, good in the car, and settles beautifully in his crate, often choosing to go there on his own to relax. He loves fetch, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has done well living with a resident cat, showing curiosity but no aggression. He is also great with kids and has a sweet, loving personality that makes him easy to adore. On walks, he can get a little enthusiastic and pull at times, but overall he enjoys getting out and exploring the world with his people.
Aries is still learning that sharing is caring, especially when exciting new toys are introduced. He has made great progress with toy sharing but may get a little possessive at first while he decides whether the toy is worthy of his personal collection. He is also a bit of a snack opportunist and may investigate unattended counters or a fellow dog’s unfinished dinner if given the chance. Loud noises like fireworks or thunderstorms can make him nervous, but rather than causing chaos, Aries quietly tucks himself into his crate like a cozy little bunker until the scary sounds pass.
Aries would thrive in a home that can continue his training, keep him mentally and physically active, and appreciate his goofy, lovable personality. He would do well with a family who enjoys outdoor adventures, playtime, and lots of affection. In return, Aries will bring loyalty, laughter, cuddles, and plenty of happy tail wags to his forever home.
