The Cinematic Superstar

Charlie Chaplin is a 3‑month‑old Shih Tzu mix puppy with old‑Hollywood genius, a wiggly, feisty spirit, and a big‑personality presence ready to command the screen.

Personality & Charm

  • Friendly, playful, and very active; the runt of the litter who makes up for size with personality and attitude.

  • Perfect mix of sweet and feisty; can be stubborn and shows some dominant energy.

  • Loves all people and kids; good with other dogs; warmed up quickly to a large‑breed dog in temp foster.

  • Cautious of new things but warms up quickly; not a barker.

  • Absolutely loves belly rubs; wiggliest pup you’ll meet.

  • Lives with a 9‑lb Bichon, two teenagers, and a dog‑savvy cat; barks at the cat but doesn’t chase.

Training & Manners

  • Knows sit; crate trained; partially house‑trained with occasional accidents.

  • Rides well in the car; sleeps in the family room and likes to use a dog bed; not allowed on furniture.

  • Eats three times daily on the family schedule; good eater; typical puppy who will benefit from formal training.

  • Best not left unsupervised—still a puppy; may be better suited for a family with previous dog experience.

  • Note from temp foster: growled when kids tried to take shoes from his grasp—resource‑guarding work in progress.

Home Fit & Next Steps

  • Ideal for an active, dog‑savvy home ready for consistent, positive training, clear boundaries, and plenty of play and belly rubs.

  • Will thrive with routine, enrichment, and gentle guidance as he grows into his leading‑man role.

Adult Weight Note

  • As a Shih Tzu mix, Charlie’s adult weight is an estimate only; expect a small dog, but final size will depend on his mix and growth.

If you’re ready for a cinematic superstar with genius charm and a wiggly heart, Charlie Chaplin is cueing up for his forever home.
