Finis is a little over 2 months old and already proving that life is one big adventure! This adorable Shih Tzu puppy is curious, playful, and always ready to see what's happening next. Whether he's leading the morning wake-up committee, racing around with his siblings, or investigating something he probably shouldn't be, Finis approaches every day with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He's a busy little guy, but when he's finally worn himself out, he'll happily stop for a quick cuddle before he's off on his next mission.
Finis loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is quickly showing how clever he is. He already knows "sit," learns new things incredibly fast, and loves interactive play with both toys and his humans. He often sticks close to his foster while exploring and is always eager to be part of whatever is going on. He's sleeping well in his crate and making steady progress with his housetraining.
Like any young puppy, Finis is still learning all the important life skills that will help him grow into a wonderful companion. He is working on housetraining and, like most puppies, is still figuring out that potty breaks belong outside. He also enjoys puppy antics like jumping, nipping during play, and enthusiastically "borrowing" toys from his siblings. Continued obedience training and positive reinforcement will help channel his intelligence and energy into becoming the best dog he can be.
Finis would thrive with a family who is ready for all the fun, laughter, and occasional chaos that comes with raising a puppy. He has done well with people and other dogs, though he has not yet been introduced to children. His forever family should understand normal puppy behaviours and be committed to positive training, consistency, and lots of love. In return, Finis will bring endless entertainment, affection, and a lifetime of adventures.
Our adoption fees cover all up to date veterinary needs, including but not limited to: full veterinary examination, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and parasite prevention, wellness bloodwork, spay or neuter, and microchip. All dogs will be started on a 6 week trial of pet insurance after adoption.
