Meet Bronx, a handsome one-year-old mixed breed from Moose Cree First Nation, who is ready to find his forever family! Bronx is a friendly, playful boy who loves people and enjoys going for walks. He’s eager to please and has that perfect mix of energy and sweetness that makes him a joy to be around.
Bronx is crate trained, housetrained, and leash trained, and he rides calmly in the car. He knows “sit,” “down,” and “leave it,” and his foster reports that he has very good leash manners. He may get a little excited at the start of a walk, but he settles quickly and walks beautifully by your side. He sleeps through the night and has no problem settling in once he’s comfortable.
Like many young dogs, Bronx is still learning about boundaries. He can get a bit mouthy when he’s excited, might jump up to say hello, and occasionally tries his luck at counter-surfing. With consistency, redirection, and basic obedience training, he’ll continue to grow into a polite and well-mannered companion.
Bronx will do best in a home with older kids who can help reinforce good manners and understand his playful enthusiasm. He gets along well with most dogs but has a strong prey drive, so he’ll need a home without cats or small animals. He’s looking for a family who can give him love, structure, and plenty of exercise, and in return, Bronx will give endless affection and loyalty.
