Volunteer With Us

This volunteer is incredibly organized, takes initiative, and is able to work through logistical problems to help organize our remote, northern clinics. This is a support role to our Clinic Lead who organizes our work with northern communities. We are looking for someone who can take the information they are given (i.e., volunteer names and information) and get train, plane, cars, hotels, etc. booked, and then also create a comprehensive itinerary for our clinic teams ahead of trips.

We are always looking for volunteers who are interested in taking initiative to organize and implement fundraising events in our community. This role could include assisting with our annual Golf Fore Dogs Tournament as well as other fundraising events throughout the year. 

Volunteers are always needed to assist in transports of dogs into our program, rides to veterinary appointments and events, as well as transport of food and supplies to the rescue. 

Emails, social media, communication with the rest of the volunteer team, etc.. There are loads of opportunities for an administrative focused volunteer! 

As our organization grows, so does our need for volunteers who are able to screen other volunteer and foster applications, meet with applicants for a Zoom interview, and assist in onboarding them to the team! 

Our Foster Coordinators ensure that our foster families have everything they need to succeed! They also ensure the dogs in our foster program are on track medically and behaviourally to prepare them for adoption. Volunteers in this position are very organized, great communicators, and enjoy working as a team!
